Nothing out of this world here. Just some facts, vanity and subtle thoughts.
I am administering various networks with different operating systems and environments. FreeBSD the operating system I choose when building up mixed Internet/Intranet networks. Here you can find some of my past experiences. I also post tech stuff on Iscanet blog.
My interests look mainly towards programming in network environments. Download bwd a free low traffic bandwidth manager for FreeBSD. I just installed MacOS X and here is a quick and dirty way to make FreeBSD ports collection to work it. Same with the package system. I also had the opportunity to work on real-time data analysis and quickly built a simple load balancing netgraph module for FreeBSD. There are some new childs in the appliance arena. One of them is 10axi/access which is an all in one captive portal, self provisioning and billing appliance for public internet points.
I also provide web design and management. Here you can find some of my past works. Some more works can be found at my company website.
Have a look at my alice when booting or when asking her more stuff...and, surprise, a new child came to the light: iskandar. Well, if you like the saga you'll appreciate isnow too: my new iMac :) And this is marge.
... it was a shiny day but clouds did the right job at the right time during the solar eclipse
I knew you wanted them so here there are some pictures taken to let you see what I see at times... or you can have a look to my flickr [offsite] photos :)
